Booking is required and closes at 8:30am on the day. Session is 10:30-12pm

You are welcome whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding, chest-feeding, body feeding, combination feeding or want to return or start breastfeeding. Using an supplemental nursing system (SNS), a nipple shield, your boobs, someone else’s boobs you are all welcome. Let me know if you have a walking baby/child coming and I can get the toy cooker out but bring some entertainment for them as well.
I have scales and can weigh baby if you wish and complete your Child Health Record (red book).

 

If you need a GP or tongue tie referral letter I charge £15.

My Available Services:

First Postnatal Visit £135

We will spend up to 2 hours together in the comfort of your own home. I will assess you and your baby and how you are feeding. I will share any relevant information, make a feeding plan and email you any follow up information as required. If I suspect a tongue tie I will carry out a formal assessment of your baby’s tongue function and I will then signpost you to local available services. (If you are more than 30 miles away from MK13 I will charge an additional £1 per mile).

Follow Up Postnatal Visit £70

Home Consultation - 1 Hour

We will spend up to an hour discussing any previous plans set out and adjust as necessary. I will signpost to any external provision if required and book another follow up if necessary.

Video Call – 1 Hour

We will spend 1 hour over Zoom or other video call option reviewing the situation. I will then be able to give you any further information, support and amend the plan as required. I will follow this up with an email outlining any information discussed and links to further support.

Birth Reflection Support £70

Face To Face Or Video Call 1 Hr

We will spend 1 hour either in your home or via video call talking through your experience. This may include reviewing your hospital notes, if you have them. I can then give you an understanding of the midwifery or infant feeding terminology and support you and/or your partner with your emotions and plans as required. I will follow this up with an email outlining any information discussed and links to further support. This may be useful to book before attending a “Birth After Thoughts” appointment at your hospital. It may take more than one session.

3 Step Rewind Course £180

3 Week Course

Face To Face Or Video Calls

A 3 session course that runs generally over consecutive weeks. Each is 1 hour although can vary.

In person or Zoom.
This is a technique using deep relaxation and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) theory to teach you a process of how to deal with the memories of a traumatic period or event and how they manifest in the present. Particularly focusing around conception, pregnancy, birth or infant feeding trauma, that you or your partner may have experienced. As a certified practitioner I will take you through the 3 Step Rewind Process to help you retrain your brain to deal with your thoughts and triggers. This package consists of 3 sessions, all about 1 hour, however this may vary. This will be over a video call, but in certain circumstances this can be done as a home visit. (An extra charge of £1 per mile will be charged if you live further than 30 miles from MK13).

Antenatal & Postnatal Full Package £295

A complete service to support you to get breastfeeding off to a good start for whatever is your ‘normal’.

Antenatal Support: 1 hour consultation in your home or via video whichever suits you. We will discuss your fertility and pregnancy history. I will establish your experience or knowledge around breastfeeding and any family history that may be relevant. We will discuss colostrum collection if appropriate. Postnatal Support: When you have given birth we can have an initial call video/phone to find out how things went and to book your Initial Lactation Consultation (no matter how you are feeding at this point). 2 hour face to face consultation in your home which is ideal for the the 2nd day or more after you have been discharged home. Here I will examine you and baby, establish how you are feeding, any difficulties or specific areas you would like covering. I will examine baby’s suckling function and appearance that may indicate any restrictions, whether craniosacral or tongue and will refer or sign post on as appropriate. Establish a plan. 1 hour follow to review plan and make adjustments.

Initial Antenatal Consultation £135

I will spend up to 2 hours in the comfort of your own home discussing your obstetric history, birth plan and any concerns or previous experiences you may wish to talk through. We will then add an Infant Feeding to your plan and will discuss colostrum collection if appropriate. With my experience as a midwife I can offer you space to talk through your birth options and post delivery expectations in line with feeding your baby. I will then be able to give you information, support and a plan. This will be followed up with an email outlining any information discussed and links to further support.
