Through my work with parents and employers as an award-winning lactation consultant, ex-midwife and founder of the Breastfeeding Hub Lactation Consultancy, I recognised a real need to offer parents a private and comfortable place to express breastmilk, when returning to work after maternity leave. Ros said, “My goal is to make it easier for parents to breastfeed for longer and do so in a way that feels inclusive, safe and normal.” She also noted the lack of suitable public spaces when travelling or out and about. Hence, the birth of the MumPod®! A standalone pod, providing a safe, dignified and private space for mothers to express or breastfeed, whether at work or out and about.
